OPERATION FOODSTOCK

Every day families go hungry. The working poor, senior citizens, people that are out of work but are "under the radar." These folks do not qualify for food stamps because they make $14 too much a month in unemployment. Operation Foodstock helps these families that are in need with food, paper products, laundry detergent, personal hygiene items. Items that many of them cannot afford and would have to go without. Please help us to help those in need with your donations. I have witnessed people going without food or taking 1 portion of food and try to make 3 meals out of it. Please help if you area able to. THANK YOU!

Dear Big Hearts of The Lowcountry,

On behalf of Andrea Holtzer and our Palliative Care Team here at St. Francis we would like to tell you how grateful we are for the beautiful prayer shawls that you have sent us.

Fortunately, we are blessed with your loving donations and this allows us to continue our prayer shawl ministry.

We could not do it wihout your generous gifts. You shawls are warmly received and so appreciated by our patients and their families especially when they are dealing with very difficult and serious illnesses.

May God continue to bless you and your group. Please keep us in mind for future prayer shawls. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Many Jane Strobel, CCA
